This year Sibos continues with a digital conference programme on the second Tuesday of each month and the programme for November is now available. On Tuesday 10 November registered delegates can hear from expert speakers across five exciting and informative sessions.
There’s good news for our APAC audiences! We’re broadening the programme’s accessibility by broadcasting it twice, once from 9.00 to 14.00 SGT for APAC, and again from 12.30 to 17.30 CET for our European and American audiences. And if there are any sessions you do miss or simply want to watch again, the entire edition will be available for replay from Wednesday 11 November.
Joining the programme in our Spotlight stream is Duncan Wardle, former VP of Innovation & Creativity at Disney. He will talk about his experiences from more than 30 years pioneering innovation across the Disney businesses. He will look at how we can overcome five barriers to innovation and demonstrate that innovation is something that can be achieves by anyone, at any level of an organisation. Ask questions in advance and answer Duncan’s polls on the nature of innovation to help shape the session content.
The day will also feature two Sibos Academy sessions on payments. The first – Future-proof payments: Making sure innovation satisfies need, now and in the future – will see the Payment Systems Regulator (PSR) provide a regulatory view of the current payments industry and discuss what the landscape will look like in the next five years and beyond. In the second Sibos Academy session – Global Payments 2020: Fast forward into the future – speakers will examine recent developments in the payments market and explore how payment providers can best respond to the disruptions caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.
The programme will also include an excellent panel discussion on PETs, or privacy enhancing technologies (Be kind to your PETs). Experts from Lloyds Bank, Société Générale, Privitar and Imperial College London will consider how PETs are being applied today for computing, privacy, data sharing and analytics, and assess their promise for the future. Don’t miss this!
Capping off the day is a SWIFT session on ‘Removing friction in cross-border payments’. Find out more about SWIFT’s new strategy to further enhance the customer experience by introducing new capabilities, including pre-validation and central case resolution services, to reduce friction in the cross-border payments process.
And finally, don’t forget that you don’t have to miss a single session from Sibos 2020. Registered delegates can watch the entire October programme at their leisure, as well as new content added from all of the monthly sessions.
